Author Bio: Roy Matthews

Roy Matthews MBE was the father–figure of modern British archery. He first won the UK Masters in 1954 and seven times after that. He has won the British Target Championship nine times and has been World Champion at 90 metres. He was awarded the MBE; for services to archery in 1977.
