Author Bio: Alan Mowlem

Alan Mowlem worked at the National Institute for Research in Dairying for over 20 years, where he was responsible for a herd of 300 British Saanen goats. He regularly contributes to conferences in many countries and has worked on goat projects in Nepal and Ethiopia. He runs the UK Goat Advisory Bureau and is author of Practical Goat Keeping [Crowood 2001].
