'At the Controls' is a photographic look at the cockpits of forty aircraft and five spacecraft of historical note. The photographs of each cockpit are taken from a pilot's eye view, with 120-degree coverage, to give the feel of actually being at the controls.
These absorbing images are complemented by further shots of the most significant of these aircraft, and text outlining each craft's flight history.
This impressive and beautifully produced book is a collection of 45 photographs showing cockpits of aircraft. The types range from the 1903 Wright Flyer to the Lockheed SR-71 and spacecraft. Each has a full colour photograph opposite text about the aircraft and an illustration of each type. - AEROPLANE
