Robin Buckland is a lifelong modeller who started writing for modellers in his monthly 'Armoured Column' in Airfix Magazine back in 1985. This was followed by another 31 years, from 1986 to 2017 with 'Small Scale Scene' in Military Modelling every month, along with numerous other articles. Between 2009 and 2017 he was also the editor of the MilitaryModelling.com website. Now he keeps his own website, www.militarymodelscene.com, and is also the editor of the bi-monthly magazine 'Tankette' for members of MAFVA (Miniature Armoured Fighting Vehicle Association).
