SHEILA MCDONALD is a freeman of the Goldsmiths’ Company, London. In her enamel pieces, which are predominantly silver, she combines several traditional techniques in a painterly way, mixing transparent enamels with layers of fine gold and silver foil. She works from her studio in Edinburgh.
