About the author

Marie Duffy Pask has seventy years’ experience in Irish Dancing. She was the Dance Director and Associate Choreographer for Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance for twenty years. As a long- serving member of The Irish Dancing Commission (CLRG), she has held several different roles and contributed to many prestigious events, including The Oscars, The Ryder Cup and The Prince’s Trust. She has also worked on TV shows such as Dancing with the Stars, Britain’s Got Talent and Strictly Come Dancing. As a teacher, Marie’s students have collectively won over 400 world


championships.
