Triathlon has seen huge changes in the past few decades; it has grown in popularity; been recognised as an Olympic sport; and witnessed a rapid increase in standards of performance at all levels. Two of the UK's top triathlon coaches, Steve Trew and Dan Bullock, have teamed up to write 100 Essential Triathlon Sessions, the definitive training programme for all serious triathletes. About the author

Steve Trew is one of the best-known names in the world of triathlon as a coach, race commentator, broadcaster and journalist. He has coached at European and World Championships and has been at the last five Olympic and Commonwealth Games as coach, team manager and commentator for triathlon and swimming. Steve was BBC triathlon commentator at the 2012 London Olympic Games. At the 2012 London Paralympic Games, Steve was the stadium commentator for track and field athletics.
Dan Bullock has been coaching since 1990. During that time he has gained ASA, ASCA and BTF coaching qualifications and was 220 Triathlon magazine's Triathlon Coach of the Year in 2005/6. In 2012, he wrote an Openwater CPD module for British Swimming.
